The boys in my guild have reached a new low.
Apparently, they're too lazy to actually type out all four letters of the infamous "F"-word. Instead, they'll simply spam guild chat with F's.
Moar are Steen are in the Dalaran Arena? Expect to see
ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff
appear in /g, sooner or later.
Whisper Elam a question about shaman theorycrafting, count to 20, and then log onto an alt?
More of the same.
So guess what I heard myself saying — saying, not typing! — when one of my customers e-mailed me this afternoon about a $0.70 overcharge on her October invoice.
(Seventy cents? Really? A multi-billion dollar company — not mine; my customer's — is counting pocket change? Come on! This is the equivalent of one and two-fifths of a can of Diet Coke!)
Still. I am /so/ ashamed.

I had been wondering what the streams of ffffffffffffffffff’s in guild chat were all about.
And i’ll have you know it’s not all the boys in the guild, I haven’t yet rattled off a string of F’s to express anger/distress/annoyance/negative emotion

When I glanced and saw one, I thought it was a variation on “pfffffft” (didn’t bother to look for any context).

Having had my UI options complete reset after a graphics driver crash, my game is showing tips on the loading screen again!
Apparently they added new stuff, such as “You can toggle through what you typed previously by hitting Alt + Up Arrow.” So all is not lost!

It’s occuring in my guild too, so whatever is causing it, it’s now transmittable between servers. I blame battlegrounds.
Anyways, I thought that healer survey was pretty cool. You wanted a tanking one, and tanking’s pretty much the only thing I know how to do. So here it is.

I saw this on twitter first before WoW, although not by very long. And my Twitter follows are (mostly) WoWers anyways, so I can’t really shed any light onto the source of this on either.
But yeah, it’s definitely catching. While I haven’t actually used it yet, that’s more due to lack of circumstance than any real objection to it. Although I think the twitter (enforced) length is probably better than a whole line of them as seen (occasionally) within WoW.
