On my shaman Valkure, in red sockets I hunt down the few JCers that can cut me some Luminous Monarch Topazes (9spellpower, 8 int) as my go to gem for those aggravating red slots and those bonuses. Dazzling Forest Emeralds are my yellow/green gems of choice. Who knows what will be best when 3.1 mana changes hit, and I am incredibly jealous of those epic intellect gems! Believe me, I intend to! :) It's funny, back in TBC, when raids were hard ... ALL of the strategizing happened in he healer channel. Not the tank channel. Not /o chat.
