@Karthis - I think he disagrees with you about stacking avoidance, but I'm not really getting his point. There's nothing quite like an in-depth discussion of druid tanking mechanics to put this 'lock fast to sleep. /zzz

I agree that druids are still excellent tanks. My boyfriend can still tank everything in the game; he just chooses to defer to our guild's other tanks as often as not. I think it's at least partly political. When you're a guild leader, you can have your way pretty much all the time... but sometimes, it's smarter not to. :)

Then again, there's a reason my new(est) nickname for him is emobear, hehe.

@Megan - lol! I *so* wish I had thought of that. I even have a romantic picnic basket tucked away in my bank for the screenshot ...

@Juzaba - thanks! :)

Cute post :P

Thankfully, a bear tank is still a great choice for tanking everything in the game - including Sarth with three drakes up, which is something that plated tanks fail at in a huge way.

Your bf must have stacked +armor through the roof on his jewelery to lose 4k of it in 3.0.8. I took the more proactive approach once the writing was on the wall, and started evaluating all gear as if it was already 3.0.8. Maybe he neglected his avoidance.... that would make him harder to heal..... just replace all that +armor crap with avoidance gear, and he should be back to tanking the world in no time.
